Job summary

michael page is handling a high-impact legal leadership role for a diversified group in Fujairah, UAE. You will serve as the trusted adviser to the GCEO and senior leaders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters, guiding complex transactions and governance.

The position offers broad exposure to high-value deals, cross-functional collaboration, and risk-managed growth within a fast-paced environment. UAE/GCC experience is highly desirable and the role is full-time on-site.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with legal degree (LLB, JD or equivalent).
• 8–12 years post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house.
• Strong corporate and commercial law background with experience negotiating complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the principal legal adviser to the GCEO and senior stakeholders on corporate, commercial and strategic matters.
• Lead the drafting, negotiation, and review of complex commercial agreements across the Group.
• Support acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, restructurings, and other strategic transactions.
• Drive legal governance, risk management and legal operations, including matter tracking and reporting.
• Manage external law firms and legal advisers, ensuring high-quality support and cost-effective outcomes.
• Build legal frameworks, templates and processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and risk management across the organisation.

• Experience working with senior executives and managing multiple legal matters in a dynamic business environment; UAE/GCC experience highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives, providing practical and solution-oriented advice to business leaders.
