Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and supporting distributed systems in production.
• Proficiency with Go or another modern backend language.
• Experience with cloud-based services, preferably AWS.
• Experience with relational, distributed, or NoSQL databases (e.g., CockroachDB, DynamoDB).
• Experience building scalable REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Understanding of event-driven architectures and asynchronous messaging.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Grafana.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Design and evolve distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Develop and improve integrations with merchant platforms, carriers, and third-party APIs.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Mentor engineers through technical leadership, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
