Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a Control Systems Lead Project Engineer to serve as the single point of contact for engineering on the project.

You will develop solid knowledge of electrical and mechanical control systems for turbines, generators, compressors and plant controls, coordinating technology resources to apply the correct customer solution. You will design the solution, oversee manufacturing, and support commissioning at domestic and international sites, working with experienced engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with turbine-generator control systems or 6 years with a Master's in STEM.
• Knowledge and experience with electrical and mechanical control systems.
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for retrofit control systems under project management oversight.
• Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to analyze, design, test and troubleshoot control systems.
• Lead project team to meet KPIs and ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
• Own engineering hours budgets and project milestones; coordinate resources.
• Coordinate and co-lead technical design reviews and ensure documentation is archived.
