Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in the United Arab Emirates seeks a seasoned Contracts Manager to oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of a major Buildings Project, ensuring compliance, managing claims and variations, and supporting project teams to deliver on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management or law, with 10+ years on large projects, strong FIDIC/NEC knowledge, and proven negotiation and dispute-resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, law or related field.
• Proven experience in contract management and commercial roles within road and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; financial acumen and cost-control expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of Buildings Project.
• Manage contracts, variations, and claims; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support project teams to deliver on time and within budget.
• Draft contract particulars and appendices; prepare tender documents and negotiations.
• Deputise for PDO Commercial Director when required.
