Job summary

Terracotta Outsourcing seeks a seasoned Head of Contracts & Claims for a long-term Abu Dhabi assignment in the power and energy infrastructure sector. You will lead contract management across a portfolio of major projects, focusing on governance, risk allocation, and commercial performance.

The role requires 15+ years in contract management for large-scale infrastructure/energy programs, deep FIDIC expertise, and experience representing Owners or Developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related discipline.
• 15+ years in contract management on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
• Extensive knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims management, variations, and dispute resolution.
• Experience representing Owner, Developer, or Project Company preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract management frameworks and performance for major infrastructure projects.
• Review EPC contractor claims and dispute strategies.
• Act as interim Project Company Contract Manager, handling notices and interface management.
• Provide governance-level reporting to senior leadership.
• Support project development by reviewing term sheets and assessing risk allocations.
