Job summary

NMC Royal Hospital - Khalifa City in Abu Dhabi seeks a Pathologist with MD-Pathology background and HAAD licensure to lead the Laboratory Department. You will oversee diagnostics across biochemistry, hematology, histopathology and microbiology, ensuring high-quality patient care.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to regulatory standards, and collaboration with hospital medical staff. English fluency is essential; Arabic knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved medical school with internship and three years of residency; MD-Pathology.
• At least three years of experience managing all laboratory tests across patient ages.
• Excellent command of English; Arabic desirable but not essential.
• Current licensure in country of origin and HAAD license to practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional duties per privileges delineation recommended by credential committee.
• Organize the work of the Laboratory Department.
• Train technicians and phlebotomists to improve performance and maintain standards.
• Maintain quality control procedures per HAAD requirements.
• Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory tests per professional standards.
