Job summary

AW Connect Recruitment is seeking an accomplished Construction Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-specification construction projects in Dubai from inception through handover. The role carries full accountability for program, cost, quality and safety, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering construction and high-specification fit-out projects in the UAE from pre-construction through to handover.
• Strong command of construction contracts, including FIDIC and bespoke forms, variation, claims and EOT management.
• Excellent program management with critical path, resource loading and recovery planning.
• Sound commercial judgement to protect project margin while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead project set-up for each award: scope, budget, procurement strategy, resource planning, baseline program.
• Review drawings and tender docs for buildability, coordination gaps, and cost risk before packages are let.
• Prepare and maintain the master program, identifying the critical path and float across all work packages.
• Direct site teams, main contractors, and subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time and within budget.
• Chair progress meetings, resolve technical issues, and implement recovery plans rather than reports.
• Deliver handover packages with as-built drawings, warranties and manuals, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Maintain approvals, permits and NOCs from Dubai authorities, with robust HSE governance.
