Job summary

Al Mezin General Contracting in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead planning, execution and delivery of civil and building projects on-site. You will coordinate activities, supervise contractors, and ensure safety, quality, and adherence to schedule and budget.

The role requires a civil engineering or construction management background, strong leadership, and extensive UAE project experience. Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Construction Project Management and Construction Management, with a track record of delivering building and civil works projects.
• Strong Project Management and Project Coordination skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
• Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, including preparing estimates, monitoring expenditures, and managing contract variations.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field; professional certifications (e.g., PMP, equivalent) are an advantage.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects in the UAE or GCC region, with knowledge of local regulations and standards.
• Ability to lead diverse site teams, enforce health and safety practices, and maintain high quality and productivity standards.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities, with effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
• Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD or equivalent) and familiarity with contract administration processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate project activities and manage site operations to ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors and enforce safety regulations and local building codes.
• Prepare and review project plans, schedules, and cost estimates; monitor progress and report milestones and risks to senior management and clients.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize resources.
