Job summary

JLL in Dubai is seeking a Senior Construction Manager with extensive experience in villa development construction, including infrastructure, to lead day-to-day project delivery on-site.

You will oversee sequencing, contractor management, government approvals, tender processes, and reporting while ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met for large-scale villa projects in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Project Management is required.
• 15 years of experience in construction management or supervision of large villa developments.
• Design & Build contract administration experience is preferred.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary site teams.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools and best practices.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar reporting tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take senior leadership role on day-to-day delivery of all project management tasks.
• Oversee sequencing and buildability to meet programme objectives.
• Monitor progress and provide best-practice solutions to deliver the programme.
• Manage local government approvals process.
• Lead tender documentation, reviews, negotiations and contract awards.
• Develop project documentation programs and master budgets.
• Produce and review reports for project stages.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with risk, sustainability and quality requirements.
• Coordinate activities and ensure on-time completion.
• Manage consultant/contractor teams for design/compliance.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Construction Manager with strong experience in villa development construction including infrastructure.

What this job involves

• Take Senior leadership role on day-to-day delivery of all project/construction management tasks.
• Oversee and contribute to the sequencing and buildability of the projectto ensure all programme objectives are achieved review the contractors proposals to ensure the right systems techniques and productivity targets can be achieved within the programme requirements.
• Oversee monitor and update the contractors progress and offer best practice solutions to ensure overall programme delivery against the contract programme.
• Oversee and ensure the management and handling of local government approvals process.
• Take Senior role with the compilation of tender documents and critically reviewing tender returns contract negotiations award of contracts and client reporting.
• Oversee and or develop project documentation programs master budget etc.
• Produce and review reports to suit relevant stages of the projects.
• Take Senior role in the delivery of projects within the framework of risk sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage while maintaining focus on time cost and quality.
• Ensure the planning of activities is coordinated and all essential components are in place to ensure on time project completion.
• Manage consultant/contractor teams to ensure that the contractors design and drawings are done in compliance with the contract.

Desired skills and experience for this

• A bachelors degree in a related field - Engineering or Project Management.
• 15 years of experience in construction management or supervision of large villa developments including infrastructure.
• Design & Build contract administration experience is preferred.
• Experience in leading multi-disciplinary site teams.

• Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or similar reporting tools.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to effectively handle project complexities.Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
