Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Dubai seeks a Cost Manager to support post‑contract services, manage budgets, and drive commercial excellence on complex projects. The role focuses on contract administration, cost control, and on-site collaboration with project teams to ensure timely cash flow and accurate reporting.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of experience, experience in the Middle East, and a Quantity Surveying degree; MRICS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in the Middle East is preferred.
• MRICS would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience pre and post contract in project/programme delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to cost and commercial teams in post‑contract services.
• Manage and update project budgets and cash flow reports.
• Take suitable commercial meeting minutes and draft monthly payment recommendations.
• Produce weekly commercial dashboards and assist in closing out projects and claims/variations.
• Utilise CostX, Excel and MS Office at an advanced level and support on-site activities.

Role Purpose:

We are currently looking for a Cost Manager to be based in the Dubai office.

The successful candidates will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.

What this job involves:

• Provide support to cost and commercial support in the delivery of post-contract services.
• Manage and update project budgets
• Take suitable commercial meeting minutes
• Use CostX, Excel and other Microsoft Office programmes to an advanced level
• Work post-contract including; being strong in contract administration, comfortable on site walks with project teams, prepare cash flow reports, draft monthly payment recommendations and weekly commercial dashboards, managing variations and assist in closing out projects and claims / variations.

Desired skills and experience for this:

• 5-7 years of relevant working experience
• Previous experience working in the Middle East
• Degree in related subject (BSc Quantity Surveying)
• MRICS would be advantageous but not essential.
• Experience pre and post contract in project / programme delivery teams.
