Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Project Construction professional to drive construction execution for a major Abu Dhabi project. You will lead the Project Construction team, champion safety, and ensure delivery aligns with project objectives and contractual obligations.

You will coordinate contractors, establish the construction organization, and oversee planning, development and operations to deliver safe, compliant site execution for island and brownfield work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Project Construction team to support objectives and strategies
• Champion safety in all construction aspects of the Project and promote the safety objective that Nobody gets Hurt
• Manage the Construction teams responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure construction execution
• Manage the Contractor’s construction planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with Project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
• Establish a construction organization to implement the Project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of construction team positions
• Provide construction and execution strategy support to the Project Team through construction oversight and assistance
• Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures
• Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for Construction, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work
