Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Construction Phase Services professional to lead site delivery of infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi. You will manage day-to-day consultancy delivery, coordinate with design teams, contractors and clients, and ensure safety, quality and schedule adherence.

With 10+ years in project management within consultancy services, you will drive value through proactive risk management, effective stakeholder communication, and robust QA/QC processes across multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
• 10+ years of professional experience in project management.
• Proven experience in consultancy project management.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in resource planning and KPIs.
• Ability to lead and oversee project teams to achieve milestones and objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction supervision and site delivery of infrastructure projects.
• Act as the senior site representative, directing engineers and inspectors.
• Administer the construction contract, including FIDIC-based contracts where applicable.
• Monitor and manage contractor performance, progress, programme, resources, workmanship and quality.
• Provide senior technical direction and resolve complex construction, technical and interface issues.
• Establish and maintain QA/QC controls, monitoring compliance and addressing non-conformances.
• Maintain health, safety and environmental performance with the team.
• Review progress against the programme and drive corrective actions with the contractor.
• Lead coordination across relevant infrastructure disciplines and interfaces.
• Manage interfaces with clients, contractors and stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject

10+ years professional experience in Project Management

Proven experience in consultancy project management

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects

Experience in resource planning, KPIs, and deliverables management
