Job summary

Swiss PRO Foundations in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Accountant to manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support management with precise financial reporting. You will handle the general ledger, VAT filings, and month-end close, collaborating with auditors and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in UAE construction/foundation sectors, strong ERP proficiency, and excellent analytical and communication skills to drive accurate budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in Construction/Foundation industries.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software, preferably ERP.
• Excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Process invoices, payroll and expense reports.
• Prepare and file VAT returns and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and external stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost control activities.
