ADVANCED CONCEPTS, part of EDGE, seeks a Production Engineer specialized in composites to lead manufacturing design, materials selection, and process improvements on aerospace/defense projects in Abu Dhabi. You will review manufacturability, drive cost-effective production methods, implement DFMA principles, and mentor teams across the shop floor while upholding quality standards and safety.

Proficiency with CAD and SAP/ERP will be required, with a track record in Six Sigma or lean initiatives

Competenze

Minimum 8 years as Production Engineering role focusing on composites.
10+ years preferred; DFMA certification and UAE/MEA experience desirable.
Deep knowledge of composite materials, resins and chemistry.
Excellent communications skills and leadership capability.
Experience using SAP or ERP software and strong CAD skills.

Mansioni

Lead design for manufacture and critique new designs to choose suitable processes.
Review studies comparing manufacturing methods and present conclusions.
Create and implement shop floor changes with full compliance.
Drive material selection and manufacturing process decisions.
Design alternative processes to improve quality, efficiency and cost.
Monitor production and perform root cause analysis for improvements.
Participate in design reviews and provide feedback for producibility.
