Job summary

AvaTrade seeks an experienced Compliance Officer/MLRO to oversee the firm’s regulatory compliance and AML/CFT framework for its ADGM-regulated operations. You will manage client onboarding controls, policy reviews, and regulatory reporting, coordinating with FSRA to ensure ongoing adherence.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of direct compliance experience in ADGM/FSRA or DIFC/DFSA-regulated settings, with FSRA/DFSA approvals and ICA or ACAMS qualification.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of direct compliance experience within an ADGM/FSRA or DIFC/DFSA-regulated financial services firm.
• Direct compliance experience within a broker-dealer, investment firm, CFD/FX broker, securities, or derivatives business – mandatory.
• FSRA or DFSA approvals as Compliance Officer and/or MLRO – mandatory.
• Professional qualification such as ICA or ACAMS is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Compliance and AML/CFT functions per ADGM/FSRA requirements.
• Act as Compliance Officer and MLRO, subject to FSRA approval.
• Maintain and regularly review compliance policies, risk assessments, and internal controls.
• Coordinate Regulatory inspections, reviews, and information requests; ensure remediation of findings.
• Lead regulatory reporting and communications with FSRA/DFSA; prepare senior management reports.
• Deliver compliance training and foster a strong compliance culture across the organization.
