Job summary

CMC Markets Middle East Limited in Dubai seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst to support the Compliance Officer/MLRO, ensuring operations align with the DFSA Rulebook, DIFC laws, and UAE requirements.

This hands-on role covers monitoring, regulatory reporting, training, and changes, acting as deputy to the CO/MLRO, and assisting AML/KYC processes.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years DFSA-regulated experience, a degree in law/finance, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ compliance experience in a regulatorily DFSA, FSRA, SCA or FCA environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to give clear practical advice.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, testing, regulatory returns and reviewing financial promotions.
• Sound understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions requirements; able to deputise for MLRO.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for compliance queries; provide practical advice and escalate to CO/MLRO as needed.
• Advise on DFSA Rulebook application, conduct of business, financial promotions, client classification and AML requirements.
• Deputise for CO/MLRO during absence; guide AML/KYC Associate and QA onboarding/screening files.
• Design and deliver compliance monitoring programme; perform reviews and document findings.
• Own regulatory reporting calendar; prepare DFSA returns, notifications and management information.
• Monitor regulatory changes; draft and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Review and approve routine financial promotions, website content, and client communications.
