Job summary

Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) in Dubai seeks an experienced regulatory compliance professional with 5–7 years in AML/CFT, UBO and risk management. The role focuses on reviewing ownership structures, conducting risk assessments and ensuring adherence to national and international standards.

You will lead investigations, coordinate with authorities, report findings and train staff while advancing PCFC’s compliance framework in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, Public Policy, Risk Management, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years in regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, UBO, financial crime, regulatory supervision, corporate registration or investigations.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations, risk assessment and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of registered legal persons evaluating ownership, control structures and regulatory indicators.
• Independently review UBO declarations and corporate structures for accuracy and currency.
• Investigate material UBO discrepancies and AML/CFT red flags, escalating significant concerns.
• Plan and conduct risk-based desk reviews, inspections and verifications with defined scope and evidence review.
• Assess gaps and recommend controls, remediation plans or referrals per legislation.
• Manage complex compliance cases and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
• Prepare and review compliance reports, risk analyses, dashboards and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate exchange of regulatory information with authorities while ensuring confidentiality.
• Provide guidance on UBO, AML/CFT obligations and train junior team members.
• Contribute to ongoing development of the regulatory compliance framework.
