Job summary

Kingston Stanley in Dubai seeks a meticulous Risk & Compliance Officer to join its Dubai team. The role centers on AML, KYC, client due diligence, risk assessment and regulatory compliance, with close interaction across the business.

You will conduct KYC, CDD/EDD and sanctions screening for new and existing clients, review SOW/SOF and complex ownership structures, and support audits, training and policy reviews.

Qualifications

• Relevant AML/Compliance experience, preferably within a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions and PEP screening.
• Experience assessing SOW/SOF, UBOs and complex corporate structures.
• UAE regulatory experience (CBUAE) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct KYC, CDD/EDD, AML and sanctions screening for new and existing clients.
• Support client onboarding and ongoing client risk assessments.
• Review Source of Wealth (SOW), Source of Funds (SOF/SOFE) and complex ownership structures.
• Identify and assess compliance and client-related risks, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Support regulatory compliance, monitoring, reporting, audits and policy reviews.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on AML and compliance matters.

Requirements

• Relevant AML/Compliance experience, preferably within the insurance sector or another regulated or legal firm.
• Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions and PEP screening.
• Experience assessing SOW/SOF, UBOs and complex corporate structures.
• Exposure to trust structures and client risk assessments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• UAE regulatory experience, particularly CBUAE, is an advantage.
• Ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders and handle sensitive/confidential information.
