Job summary

Pennell Hart, a Legal & Compliance specialist Executive Search firm, is seeking a Senior Compliance Counsel for a sovereign wealth fund based in Abu Dhabi. The candidate will lead policy updates, risk monitoring, and ethics training, ensuring alignment with international best practice.

A minimum of 12 years’ generalist experience in an investment environment is required, with exposure to Restrictive Securities.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of ethics and compliance experience in an investment environment.
• Experience with Restrictive Securities.
• Legal degree and CCEP certification required.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to sovereign wealth funds.

Responsibilities

• Review and update policies and procedures to align with laws.
• Conduct compliance monitoring and risk assessment.
• Review audit reports and lead ethics and compliance training.
