Job summary

Involved Solutions in the UAE seeks a Senior Compliance Advisor to provide hands-on regulatory guidance across design, implementation and launch of a major banking build. This role requires translating CBUAE requirements into actionable tasks for product, technology and business teams, with a focus on establishing a new compliance framework and governance from the ground up.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in regulatory compliance or advisory within banking, payments, or fintech.
• Extensive UAE market experience and knowledge of the CBUAE environment.
• Hands-on experience engaging with CBUAE for meetings, licensing, and inspections.
• Experience designing or enhancing a compliance framework in greenfield or digital transformations.
• Strong communication and ability to challenge senior stakeholders in a fast-paced delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into clear actions for business, product, operations and tech teams.
• Support design of the compliance operating model, governance structure and roles.
• Advise on regulatory obligations register, compliance risk assessment and change process.
• Review policies, procedures, committee papers, regulatory submissions and senior management reporting.
• Advise on new products, customer journeys and material business changes from a regulatory perspective.
• Support licensing, regulatory approvals, go-live readiness and regulatory information requests.
• Prepare for and participate in meetings, inspections and supervisory engagements with the CBUAE.
• Enhance the compliance monitoring and testing programme including issue tracking and escalation.
• Work closely with the MLRO and Financial Crime teams on AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, CDD and fraud obligations.
• Support handover of the compliance framework into business-as-usual ownership post-launch.
