Job summary

Clarksons seeks an experienced Options Broker to join our Futures division in the Dubai region. The role focuses on pricing, structuring, negotiating, and executing options trades while building and maintaining strong client relationships across commodities.

You will monitor market movements, identify trading opportunities, and manage the full trade lifecycle from negotiation to post-trade follow-up. Travel to client events may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of options broking experience in commodity markets.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and risk.
• Regulatory registrations and compliance knowledge.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proactive, autonomous and proactive in outreach.

Responsibilities

• Price, structure, negotiate, and arrange options trades with clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and prospects.
• Monitor volatility and market movements to identify opportunities.
• Manage trade lifecycle from negotiation to post-trade follow-up.
• Develop new business opportunities via outreach and market intelligence.
• Identify and onboard new clients and brokerage agreements.
• Maintain accurate trade records and regulatory compliance.
• Escalate potential issues with strong risk awareness.
• Collaborate with global broking teams and analysts.
• Travel and attend client events as required.
• Assist with due diligence during onboarding processes.
• Provide client-focused service and market insights.
• Support ad hoc duties to meet business needs.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements.
