Job summary

Gateway UAE, a leading commodities trading firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Traders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will execute trading strategies, manage risk, and optimize the portfolio across oilseeds and grains markets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commodities trading, strong market knowledge, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and customers. Fluency in Arabic and English is required, with CFA or similar credentials considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field.
• Masters or CFA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5+ years in commodities trading, specifically in oilseeds or grains.
• In-depth knowledge of oilseed, grain, and energy markets; familiarity with trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trading opportunities and trends.
• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders in line with trading strategies and risk management policies for oilseeds and grains.
• Portfolio Management: Manage and optimize the trading portfolio to maximize profitability and minimize risk.
• Risk Management: Implement risk management strategies to protect the company's interests and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders.
• Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on trading activities, market conditions, and performance metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with logistics and operations to ensure seamless trade execution.
• Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with company policies and regulations.
