Job summary

Caliberly seeks a highly analytical Commodities & Options Trader to manage trading activities across markets and derivatives. You will execute trades, analyze trends, and manage risk to maximize returns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include market analysis, strategy development, risk management, and coordination with finance and compliance teams. Strong understanding of futures, options, and portfolio monitoring is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 37 years of experience in commodity trading, derivatives trading or brokerage preferred.
• Experience in metals, energy, agriculture, or soft commodities is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute trades in physical commodities futures and options markets.
• Monitor real-time market movements and respond to price fluctuations.
• Manage positions across multiple exchanges and trading platforms.
• Ensure timely trade confirmations, settlements and documentation.
• Analyze global commodity markets, supply-demand dynamics and price trends.
• Develop short- and long-term trading strategies using technical and fundamental analysis.
• Monitor portfolio exposure and implement hedging strategies to minimize risk.
• Structure and execute options strategies for hedging and speculation.
• Maintain daily trading logs and profit/loss tracking; coordinate with finance and compliance teams.
