Job summary

AESG in Dubai is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to act as a technical authority within the project team, leading commissioning activities and mentoring staff. Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in MEP / Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of job-related experience in a commissioning capacity.
• Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer is desirable but not essential.
• Experience leading commissioning teams and coordinating with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct site inspections in the assigned discipline.
• Review design information, tolerances and methods of working.
• Assess test procedures and results for compliance with project specs and industry codes.
• Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with specs and codes.
• Report issues clearly to senior team members and liaise with contractor commissioning teams.
• Produce high-quality documentation including Site Observation Reports.
• Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools per project guidelines.
• Lead meetings and workshops as required, acting as technical authority within the team.
• Mentor and train colleagues; track tasks and milestones; maintain daily site diaries.
