AESG is seeking an experienced commissioning engineer to join our Dubai team. You will conduct site inspections, review design and test results, and verify compliance with project specifications across building services disciplines.
Ideal candidates have a mechanical or building services engineering degree, 5–7 years of relevant experience, and a track record with Metro projects or complex installations. You will work within a multi-disciplinary project team and report to senior AESG staff.

As part of a multi-discipline project team representing AESG, conduct site inspections and verify the tested results are correct.
Provide support to the project by delivering commissioning services in line with the high-standards clients of AESG have come to expect.
Education
MEP / Building services Engineering Degree
BSc Mechanical Engineering
BSc Building Services Engineering
MEP / Building services Engineering College Diploma
HNC, HND or equivalent
MEP / Building services Engineering College Certificate
ONC, OND or equivalent
MEP Trade time served + City & Guilds certificate
Experience
Minimum 5 years of job-related experience + Engineering degree
Minimum 6 years of job-related experience + college diploma
Minimum 7 years of job-related experience + college or Trade Certificate
Metro experience is essential
Industry Accreditations
Incorporated Engineer, desirable but not essential
CSA Grade 4 qualifies, desirable but not essential
Commissioning certification such as BCA, ACG or NEBB, desirable but not essential
Significant experience and advanced competencies.
Able to work independently on complex tasks.
Independently conduct site inspections in selected discipline
Review design information, tolerances and agreed methods of working
Assess whether test procedures and recorded results demonstrate compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry codes of practice
Report issues found to senior team members in a clear, accurate and concise manner
liaise with contractors commissioning team in a professional manner
Carry out side observations with respect to quality of installation
Produce documentation to a high standard, including site observation reports
Participate in meetings and workshops regarding discipline when required
Monitor installation, submittals and use of engineering tools adhering to project and commissioning guidelines
Track completion of tasks, prepare lookaheads and trackers for project milestones
Keep a diary of events and activities under your control, including systems inspected, documents reviewed, and any decision made by authorities on site.
