Wood is recruiting an experienced Commissioning Engineer in Abu Dhabi to oversee testing, inspection, and validation of systems to meet project requirements. The role is initially office-based with a potential move to onshore site in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The successful candidate will coordinate commissioning from pre-commissioning through start-up, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to project schedules.

Aufgaben

• Ensure safe and efficient commissioning of systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications and client requirements.
• Coordinate and execute commissioning procedures from pre-commissioning through start-up, validating performance and functionality of systems.
• Develop and implement commissioning plans, checklists, and documentation aligned with project schedules and strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transition from construction to operations.
• Lead and participate in system walkdowns, inspections, and functional tests for readiness before turnover.
• Monitor and report commissioning progress, identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain schedule integrity.
• Ensure adherence to HSE standards during all commissioning activities on site.
• Support the development of as-built documentation and handover dossiers to operations or clients.
