Job summary

Wood is seeking a Head of Construction & Commissioning in Abu Dhabi to lead the Construction & Commissioning function across the business grouping. The role ensures safe, reliable operations, on-time delivery of projects, and client satisfaction within Wood's Oil, Gas & New Energies portfolio.

The leader will drive strategy, resource planning, and development of personnel, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to win new opportunities and improve project margins in a global energy

Qualifications

• Requires ISCED Level 6 (Bachelor's) in Engineering, Science or equivalent.
• Chartered membership or PE status is preferred.
• Extensive field-based construction and commissioning experience across complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive construction and commissioning delivery and performance across the unit.
• Lead HSSEA culture and ensure safe, secure project delivery.
• Oversee resource planning, budgeting and governance of construction/commissioning activities.
