Job summary

ALEC Holdings PJSC, through its MEP division, seeks a Commercial Manager to lead commercial performance on complex construction projects in the UAE. You will protect margins and cash flow, manage contractual risks, and ensure governance across the project lifecycle.

You will collaborate with project leadership, clients, main contractors, and subcontractors to drive strong commercial outcomes and implement robust cost-control and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management or quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC-based contract administration, valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
• Experience with subcontract procurement and account settlement.
• Leadership and stakeholder-management skills; CIOB/RICS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of assigned projects to protect margin and cash flow.
• Oversee valuations, variations, claims, and final account settlements.
• Manage subcontract procurement, administration, and final accounts.
• Ensure CVA and cost-value reporting is accurate and timely.
• Provide commercial governance and risk advice to project leadership.
• Promote ESG and sustainability practices.
