Job summary

Client of Mangaza is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager for a senior role in Ras Al Khaimah. The role covers contract management, cost control, tendering, commercial strategy and team leadership across projects.

The candidate will lead contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, manage variations and EOTs, monitor budgets and profitability, and drive commercial process improvements within a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Commercial & Contract Management
• Experience in Cost Control and Project Financial Management
• Tendering & Estimating experience with high-end construction or fit-out background
• Variations, Claims and EOTs management and subcontractor/supplier coordination
• Leadership of commercial teams and mentoring of junior staff
• UAE construction market experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the commercial performance of projects
• Work with project management, procurement, finance and site teams to ensure profitability
• Manage contracts with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
• Lead variations, claims, EOTs and contractual matters
• Monitor budgets, costs, cash flow and profitability
• Prepare commercial reports, forecasts and financial analysis
• Lead tender submissions, cost estimates and commercial proposals
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Advise on pricing strategies and bid/no-bid decisions
• Mentor Quantity Surveyors, Estimators and Contract Administrators
• Drive improvements across commercial processes and contract management
