Job summary

Currie & Brown in Abu Dhabi is recruiting a Commercial Manager for a mixed-use development project. You will support project leaders, manage a team of cost, contracts and commercial managers, and drive value through effective cost control and reporting.

Responsibilities include delivering accurate cost advice, fostering collaboration with clients, and ensuring timely, high-quality outputs within a live project environment.

Qualifications

• BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• MRICS chartered status.
• 10–15 years’ experience in global construction consultancy.
• Pre and post-contract experience.
• Experience in Middle East projects.
• Experience advising on contractual matters.
• Experience leading commercial and contracts teams on live projects.
• Strong written and client-facing communication.
• Well-organised, proactive, commercially astute.
• Team player with a flexible, respectful attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost advice and reporting to clients.
• Lead and coordinate a team of cost, contracts and commercial managers.
• Analyse project data efficiently.
• Set up and manage workshops to achieve cost savings.
• Deliver high-level strategic proposals as needed.
• Deliver projects, commissions and professional assignments.
• Maintain effective communication for successful project completion; liaise with managers for financial control.
• Undertake commercial management with limited supervision.
• Deliver all outputs accurately and on time.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain client relationships.
