Job summary

Hill International seeks a seasoned Commercial Manager in Abu Dhabi to lead commercial functions across large-scale developments. The role requires overseeing cost control, procurement, contract administration and risk management with a focus on profitability and contract compliance.

You will collaborate with legal and project teams on claims, variations and dispute resolution while developing commercial strategies and client negotiations to deliver on budget and contractual targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management in construction and consultancy sectors.
• Experience in procuring consultants.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and UAE regulations.
• Proven track record in cost control, contract management and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
• Professional certification (e.g., MRICS or CIOB) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of projects ensuring compliance with contracts and financial objectives.
• Oversee cost control, procurement, contract administration and risk management.
• Manage claims, variations and dispute resolution in collaboration with legal and project teams.
