Job summary

Visa’s CEMEA Legal team seeks a Sr. Associate Counsel to support EKQ and KBO regional needs, handling contracting, regulatory matters and commercial agreements. The role involves drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate filings, and assisting the Digital Sales team.

Some travel may be required and hybrid in-office work is expected. The ideal candidate will have a law degree and at least 6 years PQE with multinational experience, strong judgment, and the ability to manage

Qualifications

• Law degree is a minimum requirement.
• Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) with an international law firm or multinational.
• Ability to work cross-functionally within the organization to implement projects.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and review a broad range of commercial contracts and other legally binding documents.
• Provide legal support for contracting, regulatory issues, product launches and partner collaborations.
• Advise on corporate filings and compliance for Visa subsidiaries in the region.
• Coordinate with marketing, sourcing and other internal teams on campaigns, supplier agreements and internal approvals.
• Support the regional Digital Sales team on contract templates and related matters.
