Qualifications

• Strong experience in coastal protection and marine infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and coordinate multidisciplinary design.

Responsibilities

• Develop coastal protection designs (breakwaters, revetments, shoreline defenses).
• Design beach stabilization and coastal management measures (groynes, etc.).
• Engineer scour protection for marine structures exposed to hydraulic forces.
• Prepare seawater intake/outfall design considerations.
• Define bathymetric survey specs and manage survey activities.
• Inspect coastal structures and assess condition for rehabilitation needs.
• Coordinate marine geotechnical investigations and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Lead application of hydrodynamic modelling (e.g., MIKE 21) for studies and design decisions.
• Ensure designs meet codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
