Job summary

Enova by Veolia in the UAE seeks a CNS Maintenance Engineer to lead maintenance and installation of Communication, Navigation and Surveillance systems. You will supervise a team, ensure ICAO-compliant operation, and coordinate projects with a focus on safety, reliability and performance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electronics & Communication or Computer Engineering with 5+ years CNS maintenance experience and knowledge of GCAA standards, plus ILS or AWOS exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & communication/Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years’ experience in CNS maintenance with exposure to Facilities Management especially in the areas of Air Navigation Services (ANS).
• Experience of international /GCAA standards.
• Experience on either Instrument Landing System (ILS) or Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) is a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in maintenance/installation of CNS systems and associated support systems.
• Maintain CNS systems to ICAO and international standards.
• Ensure daily routine checks of CNS systems and IT systems.
• Coordinate engineering work, designs, and project proposals.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to team members.
• Inspect completed installations and verify conformance to design and safety standards.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation of activities.
• Liaise with HSEQ for SOPs and incident management.
