Job summary

GAL Air Navigation Services L.L.C. seeks an experienced technician to perform supervised maintenance of CNS, ATM and MET systems, ensuring compliance with standards and documentation.

You will update the Engineering Task Database, execute scheduled maintenance, and coordinate handovers to operations. The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Electronics, ATSEP basic preferred, and about 5 years in CNS/ATM/MET in an ATC environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent.
• ATSEP basic and equipment preferred.
• 5 years of experience in a CNS/ATM/MET role, with ATC environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks and update the Engineering Task Database.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of CNS, ATM and MET systems per annual plan.
• Address ad-hoc maintenance requirements for CNS/ATM/MET systems.
• Inform the Airside Engineer on task completion for handover checks.
• Complete and file documentation to maintain records per SOP.
• Identify and raise challenges that may hinder task completion.
• Adhere to OHS guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
• Stay updated with regulations and SOPs to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to meet operational requirements.

Job description

To carry out designated supervised unsupervised maintenance of air navigation services CNS ATM MET systems whilst ensuring compliance with the required standards regulations and documentation requirements

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Perform the assigned tasks and update the Engineering Task Database to ensure it accurately reflects the status of the work completed
• Carry out scheduled maintenance of the air navigation services CNS ATM MET systems as per the annual maintenance plan
• Address ad-hoc requirements for maintenance of air navigation services CNS ATM MET systems that may arise from time to time
• Inform the Airside Engineer of the task completion to ensure necessary checks are carried out before handover to operations
• Complete and file the related documentation to ensure records are maintained as per the standard operating procedure
• Identify and raise challenges and issues that may hinder the task completion in a timely manner
• Adhere to OHS guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements to ensure compliance
• Stay up to date with the latest applicable regulations and SOPs to ensure compliance at all times
• Perform any additional responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time to meet operational requirements

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent

Professional Certifications

• ATSEP basic and equipment preferred

Experience

• 5 years experience in a similar role with apprenticeship in either CNS or ATM or MET systems
• Experience of working in an ATC environment
