Job summary

Dubai Air Navigation Services in Dubai seeks a Trainee ATSEP NDP to develop the skills needed to progress to ATSEP Engineer, ensuring the availability and integrity of CNS assets. You will train across multiple ICAO-based phases and build knowledge of aviation communications, navigation and radar systems.

Note: trainees must complete training phases 1 and 2 with minimum delay to advance and qualify for progression within CNS operations.

Qualifications

• Interest in aviation and radar/communications systems.
• Training will be provided in ICAO-based phases to meet competency requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Radar and ATM systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop the skills to progress from ATSEP NDP to ATSEP Engineer while maintaining CNS systems.
• Complete training phases 1 and 2 with minimum delay to progress to Engineer.

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience:

• Previous experience is not expected, however, the individual should have an interest in aviation and in particular Communications, Navigation and Surveillance radar systems
• Training will be provided in 4 phases to meet the ICAO doc 9868 - Training and 10057 - Manual on Air Traffic Electronics Safety Personnel Competency-based Training and Assessment
• Some basic technical knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Radar, ATM and other Airport Systems would be advantageous
