Job summary

Weatherford in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Senior CNC Machinist to set up, program, operate and optimize CNC machines used to manufacture and repair oilfield tools, tubular connections and premium threads. You will read engineering drawings, follow API specifications, and contribute to quality and on-time delivery.

You will work with Heidenhain, Fanuc or Mazatrol controls, perform precision inspections, and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities while adhering to

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years CNC machining experience, including milling and lathe operations.
Experience programming and operating CNC machines independently.
Experience with Heidenhain, Fanuc, or Mazatrol controls preferred.

Responsibilities

Program, set up and operate CNC machines to manufacture, modify and repair oilfield tools.
Develop and execute CNC programs using engineering drawings and API specifications.
Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments for new jobs.
Inspect machined components and document inspection results.
Develop tooling and fixtures to improve productivity and reduce costs.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and root-cause analysis.
