Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a technically skilled technician in Abu Dhabi to perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of completion tools and equipment to ensure operational readiness. You will operate workshop facilities including torque bucking units and pressure test bays while following Weatherford procedures and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• 2-3 years minimum repair and maintenance experience in completion tools or oil and gas equipment.
• Experience operating workshop equipment including torque bucking units and pressure test bays.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair completion tools and equipment.
• Operate and maintain workshop equipment including torque bucking units and test bays.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and accurate service documentation.
• Adhere to Weatherford procedures and HSE standards.
