Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Lead CNC Machine Operator based in Abu Dhabi to oversee setup, production, and supervision of the CNC team. You will interpret blueprints, set up tooling, fixtures, and process parts to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

The role requires strong programming experience and familiarity with CAD/CAM software, with a background in aerospace, manufacturing, or defense machining.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong programming experience is a must
• Computer programming & CAD/CAM Software knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, production, and supervision of CNC machine operators.
• Interpret blueprints, sketches, or part descriptions to machine components.
• Setup tooling, fixtures, jigs, and fabricate parts as required within timeframes.
• Supervise CNC team to ensure operations meet high standards and train others.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping; monitor OEE, KPI and downtime.
• Follow NC Management per QMS requirements and participate in problem solving.
