Job summary

Khansaheb Group in Dubai seeks a Senior Civil Supervisor to lead the Civil Specialist Team in delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across our facilities.

You will supervise carpentry, masonry, plumbing and painting tasks, plan preventive maintenance, ensure safety and environmental standards, and provide technical guidance to optimise performance and reporting. A Diploma and 5+ years of experience are required for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in civil maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Civil Specialist Team to ensure efficient task execution.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor civil maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct site inspections for safety, quality, and environment compliance.

Role Purpose:

The Senior Civil Supervisor is responsible for leading the Civil Specialist Team to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services.

Key Task and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the Civil Specialist Team, ensuring tasks are executed efficiently and meet established standards.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor civil maintenance and repair works, ensuring alignment with preventive maintenance schedules and work order priorities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify issues, assess progress, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the team for complex repairs, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all civil works, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and painting, are completed in accordance with company procedures and client requirements.
• Maintain effective communication with the Facility Manager and Helpdesk for task updates, issue reporting, and resource planning.
• Manage the allocation of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient use and minimize downtime.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for the team.
• Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and support training and development to enhance skills and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and time spent, ensuring timely reporting and documentation.
• Support the implementation of energy-efficient and sustainable practices in civil maintenance activities.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

Technical Skills:

• Civil Maintenance Expertise: Knowledge of civil works including masonry, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and structural repairs. Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Preventive Maintenance: Understanding of scheduling and executing preventive maintenance tasks.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Equipment and Tool Management: Proficiency in using and maintaining civil maintenance tools and equipment.
• Quality Control: Ability to assess and ensure work meets technical and client standards.
• CAFMs or Work Management Systems: Experience with Computer- Aided Facility Management (CAFM) systems or similar platforms for tracking maintenance tasks.
• Material Estimation: Skills in estimating and procuring materials for civil work efficiently.
• Project Management: Basic knowledge of planning, executing, and monitoring civil projects or tasks.
