Job summary

AECOM is seeking a skilled Civil Inspector to supervise stormwater drainage and micro tunneling works on-site in the UAE. You will monitor excavation, shoring, backfilling, and shaft construction while ensuring alignment, levels, and compliance with DM, RTA, and project specs.

Daily reporting and QC oversight are essential. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 7+ years in construction supervision (5+ in UAE), and strong knowledge of UAE codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of construction supervision experience; UAE experience mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day supervision and inspection of stormwater drainage and micro tunneling works.
• Monitor excavation, shoring, backfilling, and shaft construction on site.
• Verify alignment, gradients and levels for stormwater pipelines and structures.
• Ensure contractor works comply with Dubai Municipality, RTA and QC procedures.
• Record daily manpower, equipment and material deliveries on-site.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and support survey validation and testing.
