Job summary

AECOM invites a Senior Civil Engineer to lead construction supervision for STP infrastructure in Dubai. The role focuses on stormwater, roads and utility corridors within large wastewater projects, ensuring compliance with designs, schedules and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring extensive GCC project experience, strong reporting skills and the ability to coordinate with authorities and contractors on complex civil works. On-site work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering certification is advantageous.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise civil infrastructure works for sewage treatment plant projects.
• Monitor construction of stormwater drainage networks, roads and utility corridors.
• Review construction methodologies, shop drawings and material submittals.
• Assess contractor work programmes for compliance with project requirements.
• Verify construction follows approved drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor compliance with project schedules and HSE requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, authorities and stakeholders.
• Identify construction risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Prepare technical reports and progress updates.
• Issue non-conformance reports and verify closure.
