Job summary

The role covers complex cardiac and thoracic procedures including CABG and valve surgery, with multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic Surgery (Cardiac Surgery or Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery).
• Western qualification preferred (e.g., UK CCT/CCST, American Board, Canadian Royal College, Australian FRACS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex cardiac and thoracic conditions.
• Perform cardiothoracic surgical procedures including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and other advanced surgeries.
• Provide preoperative assessment and postoperative care.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain surgical records and participate in audits and professional development.
