SearchPlus HR invites applications for a Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a premier UAE healthcare facility. The role focuses on delivering advanced cardiovascular surgical care and leading clinical services development in a multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will perform CABG, valve and aortic surgeries, oversee pre- and post-operative care, and guide junior colleagues while aligning with international standards and UAE regulations.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent; FRACS or recognised Australian specialist qualification.
• Recognised specialist training in Cardiothoracic/Cardiovascular Surgery.
• Extensive post-specialisation surgical experience with complex cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead assessment, diagnosis and surgical management of complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.
• Perform advanced cardiac procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery.
• Oversee pre-operative evaluations, operative interventions and post-operative care.
• Provide expert consultation and develop comprehensive surgical treatment plans.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, anaesthesiologists and intensivists for patient care.
• Participate in clinical governance, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and international standards.
• Mentor junior surgeons and lead multidisciplinary teams.
