Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East seeks an experienced Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a premier tertiary healthcare facility in Dubai. You will oversee assessment, diagnosis, operative management and postoperative care for complex CT patients, while ensuring patient safety and evidence-based practice.

You will lead a range of CT procedures, engage in Heart Team discussions, supervise residents, and contribute to service development and clinical governance in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent from an accredited medical school.
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiothoracic/Thoracic/Cardiac Surgery.
• Recognised specialist/consultant level training.
• Valid DHA eligibility or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist consultation and comprehensive management of cardiothoracic patients.
• Perform adult cardiac, thoracic and CT surgery according to privileges.
• Collaborate with cardiology, anesthesia, ICU and radiology teams.
• Lead Heart Team meetings and complex case discussions.
• Document operative notes and maintain high standards of patient safety.
• Participate in on-call coverage and clinical governance activities.
