Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Cardiothoracic Anesthetist for a leading tertiary-care hospital in Dubai. You will provide specialized anesthetic and perioperative care for complex cardiac and major vascular procedures, collaborating with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists and intensivists.

The role requires advanced expertise in cardiac anesthesia, TEE, invasive monitoring, and management of critically ill cardiac patients in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Anesthesiology.
• Recognized postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship/subspecialty in Adult Cardiac/Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for or holding a DHA Consultant license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthetic care for adult cardiothoracic patients.
• Conduct detailed pre-anesthetic assessments for high-risk cardiac patients.
• Provide anesthesia for CABG, valve surgery, aortic surgery, major thoracic and vascular procedures.
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) within credentialing.
• Manage complex cardiac ICU patients and advanced hemodynamic monitoring.
• Participate in multidisciplinary Heart Team discussions and perioperative optimization.
