Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a Consultant Cardiac Anesthesiologist with expertise in adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, TEE, and perioperative management. You will lead anesthesia for CABG, valve, congenital, and transplant procedures, and coordinate care with surgeons, cardiologists, and critical care teams.

The role requires fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia and 8–10 years of post‑specialization experience, with Dubai licensing or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree and residency in Anesthesiology.
• Board certification or equivalent in Anesthesiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• At least eight to ten years post-specialization experience in cardiac anesthesia.
• Extensive experience with adult and pediatric cardiac surgery, interventional cardiology and perioperative critical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist anesthesia services for adult and pediatric cardiac surgery.
• Deliver anesthesia for thoracic and major vascular procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive pre-anesthetic assessments and risk stratification.
• Develop individualized anesthesia plans based on complexity.
• Administer general anesthesia for CABG and valve surgery.
• Support congenital heart procedures in adults and children.
• Provide anesthesia for heart transplantation and complex aortic surgery.
• Support cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Manage TAVI/TAVR and other structural heart interventions.
• Perform and interpret intraoperative TEE to guide decisions.
