Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking a Specialist / Consultant Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a leading UAE healthcare organization's advanced surgical team. The role involves managing complex cardiovascular conditions, performing surgeries, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, with international credentials welcomed and a tax-free, comprehensive package.

Qualifications

• MBBS, MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Cardiovascular Surgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, or equivalent specialty.
• Significant post-specialization experience in cardiovascular/cardiothoracic surgery.
• Proven experience performing cardiovascular surgical procedures independently.
• UK CCT/FRCS, American Board, Australian Board/FRACS, South African qualifications encouraged.
• Experience in a tertiary-care or advanced cardiac center is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiovascular and cardiothoracic conditions.
• Perform cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical procedures appropriate to the candidate's expertise.
• Manage pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient care.
• Perform procedures involving coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, aortic conditions, and other cardiovascular disorders.
• Participate in emergency and elective surgical services.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists, anesthetists, intensivists, radiologists, and other specialists.
• Provide comprehensive follow-up and long-term patient management.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and evidence-based practice.
