Job summary

SearchPlus HR Consultancy is recruiting for a leading government healthcare facility in the UAE for an experienced Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Dubai cardiology team. The role centers on diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders, and performing advanced electrophysiology procedures.

The successful candidate will hold a medical degree with postgraduate Cardiology training, fellowship in EP and pacing, and Western Board credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing.
• Western Board qualification preferred, such as UK CCT/CCST, American/Canadian/Irish Board, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in EP.
• Experience in EPS, catheter ablation, AF/Flutter, SVT and ventricular arrhythmias.
• Ability to independently manage complex EP cases.
• Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex arrhythmias.
• Perform EPS and catheter ablations including complex cases.
• Manage AF, atrial flutter, SVT and ventricular arrhythmias.
• Perform and oversee pacemaker and ICD implantation.
• Interpret ECGs and Holter studies.
• Develop individualized, guideline-based treatment plans.
• Lead complex EP cases and provide consultations.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and teams.
• Monitor outcomes and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain medical records and comply with standards.
• Participate in audits, research, teaching, and CPD.
