Job summary

Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a leading healthcare organization in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on diagnosing and managing complex rhythm disorders with expertise in EP procedures and device management.

The ideal candidate should hold MBBS/MD or equivalent, a cardiology specialty qualification, and a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology, with DOH license eligibility. Extensive post-specialization experience is required.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MD or equivalent medical degree.
• Specialist/consultant qualification in Cardiology.
• Fellowship/training in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
• DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Extensive post-specialization experience in electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with arrhythmias and complex rhythm disorders.
• Perform ECGs, Holter monitoring, event monitoring, and EPS.
• Perform advanced EP procedures including catheter ablation for SVT and VT.
• Manage atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, SVT, VT, and other arrhythmias.
• Perform 3D electroanatomical mapping and advanced ablation techniques.
• Implant and manage pacemakers, ICDs, and CRT devices where within scope.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care and manage complications.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, surgeons, heart failure specialists and other teams.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cardiac rhythm and device clinics.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow guidelines.
• Contribute to teaching, research, and department development.
